8 Diphthongs and triphthongs will be studied .Textbook : pages 79-92.
9 Introduction to affricates,aspirants,nasal and lateral consonants.Textbook:pages115-135,141-151.
10 More exercises speaking the voiced and unvoiced “th”. Textbook :pages 157-163.
11 Drills and spoken exercises for the nasal consonants.Textbook:pages 167-175.
12 Learn the differences between British Received Pronunciation and the American Standard pronunciation.Textbook : pages 214-237.Lyrics from the musical “My Fair Lady” will be studied.
13 The rules and concepts for the sounds of the British cockney accent will be learned.Exercises for the cockney accent will be performed.
