There are two main objectives of the course: First, to discuss the functionality of a language in the cross-cultural encounter / meeting in its historical and social context, and the second, to analyse some texts the in the field of public international law and try to understand the sub-texts in the chosen texts.
The students will be exposed to diplomatic videos, newspaper articles, and academic articles. Their homework will comprsie of giving verbal and written speeches throuıgh analytical, and cohesive appraoches. This will be done through teaching them various communicative structures in order to give good diplomatic and political expressions. The best way to generate these goals is through lots of practice..
