Hemşirelik bakımına yönelik teknolojik gelişmeleri izleyebilme ve hemşirelik bakımında güvenirliği-etkinliği kanıtlanmış teknolojik cihaz ve uygulamalara yönelik bilgi ve beceri kazandırmaktır.

Bu ders; bir hemşirelik modeli (Roper, Logan ve Tierney’in Hemşirelik Modeli) doğrultusunda yaşam aktivitelerine yönelik güncel sağlık bakım teknolojilerini tanıma ve izleme, hemşirelik bakımında kullanma ve hemşirelikte inovasyona farkındalık kazandırmaya yönelik konuları içermektedir.

Düz anlatım, soru-cevap, tartışma, grup çalışmaları, hemşirelik bakımı sağlayan firmaların derse daveti ve demostrasyonu, ters yüz öğrenme, olgu temelli öğrenme ve senaryo vaka analizi.
