Bu dersin amacı, öğrencilerin yapay zekâ kavramını ve sağlık alanındaki uygulamalarını tanımalarını, yapay zekâ temelli araçları sağlık hizmetlerinde etkin ve sorumlu biçimde kullanabilmelerini, ayrıca yapay zekânın etik, hukuki, veri güvenliği ve hasta mahremiyeti boyutlarını değerlendirebilmelerini sağlamaktır.
Bu derste yapay zekâya giriş, sağlık hizmetlerinde yapay zekâ uygulamaları, elektronik sağlık kayıtları, tele-sağlık, sağlık odaklı yapay zekâ araçları, etik ve hukuki konular ile veri güvenliği ve hasta mahremiyeti ele alınmaktadır.
