The main objectives of this course are to provide students with knowledge of the fundamental theories and applications of international economics; to create an environment that enables them to recognize, evaluate, and understand existing theories in the field of international economics; to establish a foundation for understanding empirical studies in this area; and to equip graduates with the skills and knowledge necessary to secure employment in this field.

This course aims to provide students with the fundamental theories of international economics and their real-world applications. By the end of this course, students will have examined the historical reasons for the emergence of international economic theories and will have begun to understand different methods and analytical perspectives. In order to facilitate and make this learning process more enjoyable, supplementary resources and techniques will be used in addition to standard lectures and seminars. This course will be supported not only by weekly 3-hour core lectures and seminars but also by in-class assignments and group projects.

Course, exam, news analysis. This course has an exam format during the semester divided into two main sections. The total of these main sections will determine the final grade (Exam Grade = A + B). A - Midterm Exam: 40% B - Final Exam: 60%
