The history of the philosophy of language in the analytic tradition begins with advances in logic and tensions in traditional accounts of the mind and its content at the end of the nineteenth century. These developments resulted in a kind of revolution in philosophy, commonly known as the "Linguistic Turn". This course aims to understand such turn by focusing on a number of philosophers.
