Bu dersin amacı artık son senesine gelmiş olan öğrencilerin Eski Yunan ve Roma edebiyatına dâhil olan herhangi bir yazar veya eseri derinlemesine ele alabilmelerini, akademik bir sunum yapmanın tüm inceliklerini ve araştırma yöntemlerini öğrenebilmelerini sağlar.

Bu derste öğrenciler gruplara ayrılarak dersin konu başlıklarından birini seçerler ve bu konuyla ilgili yaptıkları araştırmayı bir sunumla destekleyerek sınıfla paylaşırlar.
